Perfect size and thickness. I really liked the packaging (box+bag and card!) as well!
The detail is beautiful but I was quite disappointed by how dull this piece is. There is literally no shine...it is nearly 100% matte finish FYI. Very difficult to find a chain to match--it looks odd against all my chains which have a natural shine. But, as I have found it to be very difficult to find such a tiny Miraculous Medal in white gold I am going to try and make it work. There aren't many of these on the market in such a dainty size. Just wanted to flag for other buyers as a heads up :)

We would like to clarify that the medal does not have a matte finish. Because of its exceptionally small size and the extraordinary amount of intricate detail in the design, it cannot be highly polished like a smooth piece of white gold. When viewed closely under magnification, you can see the finely defined details of the Virgin Mary as well as the tiny lettering surrounding her. Polishing a medal this small to a high shine would remove or significantly soften many of these delicate details.
This is also one of the reasons why it is so difficult to find a genuine 18K white gold Miraculous Medal with this level of detail in such a tiny, dainty size.
