18K Gold, Hollow & Semi-Hollow Jewelry

Some of our jewelry, including certain medals, crosses, pendants, charms, bracelets, and baby and children's jewelry, may be hollow or semi-hollow.

When a product is described as 18K solid gold, this means that the gold material used to manufacture the piece is 18K gold. It does not necessarily mean that the piece is completely solid throughout its interior.

Hollow and semi-hollow jewelry may contain empty space inside or may be constructed using less gold than a fully solid piece of similar dimensions. This allows the jewelry to be lighter and generally more affordable.

If it is important to you to know whether a particular item is hollow, semi-hollow, or fully solid throughout, please contact us before purchasing and we will provide the most accurate information available for that item.

Jewelry Wear, Damage & Care

All fine jewelry, including fully solid 18K gold jewelry, may scratch, dent, bend, break, or otherwise become damaged from normal wear, impact, pulling, pressure, friction, drops, chemicals, or improper care.

Hollow and semi-hollow jewelry is generally more delicate than fully solid jewelry and may dent, bend, crush, or become damaged more easily.

Baby and children's jewelry, including ID bracelets, earrings, necklaces, bangles, and charms, may become scratched, dented, bent, or damaged during normal use, particularly when a child crawls, plays, sleeps, or rubs the jewelry against hard surfaces.

Jewelry should be handled carefully and periodically inspected for wear or damage.

Baby & Children's Jewelry

Baby and children's jewelry must be worn under adult or parental supervision.

Jewelry contains small components and should never be treated as a toy.

We recommend periodically removing and inspecting children's jewelry and checking the skin where the jewelry is worn.

Jewelry should be removed before bathing, showering, swimming, sleeping, sports, rough play, or activities that may expose the jewelry to pulling, impact, pressure, water, chemicals, or hard surfaces.

Exposure to chlorine, salt water, shampoo, conditioner, soap, creams, lotions, perfumes, sunscreen, cleaning products, and other chemicals may damage enamel, finishes, stones, pearls, and the jewelry itself.

Earrings & Earring Backs

Earring backs, including screw backs and other backing styles, are not guaranteed against loss, loosening, wear, or damage.

Earring backs may loosen or come off through normal use, if they are pulled, handled, improperly secured, excessively tightened, or manipulated by a child.

Customers should periodically check earrings and backs to make sure they remain properly positioned and secure.

Screwback earrings should be gently secured and should not be forced or excessively tightened.

Orders & Payments

Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected merchandise subject to these Terms and our other applicable policies.

We accept payment through the payment methods offered during checkout.

By submitting payment information, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided and authorize us and our payment providers to charge the applicable amount.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, limit, or review an order when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving suspected fraud, pricing errors, inventory issues, payment problems, or other circumstances affecting our ability to fulfill the order.

If an order is canceled after payment has been captured, any applicable refund will be issued according to the original payment method and our refund procedures.

Before initiating a chargeback or payment dispute relating to a shipping or delivery issue, the customer agrees to first contact Amalia Jewelry and provide us with a reasonable opportunity to investigate the matter, complete any required carrier or insurance procedures, and provide an appropriate refund or replacement when applicable.

Custom, Personalized & Special-Order Merchandise

Special-order, custom-made, engraved, personalized, modified, or otherwise customized merchandise may not be eligible for return or exchange.

This provision does not affect rights that may apply to merchandise that was defective when delivered.
