Who was Saint Laurence O'Toole?

Laurence (Lorcán Ua Tuathail, 1128–1180) was the son of an Irish chieftain, abbot of Glendalough and Archbishop of Dublin. He lived simply, fed thousands during famine and negotiated for peace during the Anglo-Norman invasion. He died at Eu, in Normandy, while on a peace mission, and was canonized in 1225.
